On July 3rd Adam took us miniature golfing. This was his first outing of the sort and he is hooked! After golfing we had a bite to eat and then took Daddy to the pool. Adam and Kurt went down the "huge" twisty slides together. Since then Adam and I have only been to the pool once. Summer has turned cool. While 75 degrees is gorgeous in March it isn't exactly what I'd like for summer weather.

It all started in Ankeny. Really, it did. Kurt and I on a bus to State Marching Band and Ankeny's Mid-Iowa Band Championships. Who knew then that we'd be the Van Thomme Family and settle down in this great city so many years later?

I agree with the weather comment, how can one do "Summer" activities with beautiful "spring" weather? Frustrating!
