I think I need to get everyone caught up.
The end of June we put an offer on a different house. The offer was accepted pending the sale of our house. On July 2nd we put our house on the market and have been patiently awaiting its next owner to fall for it. Yesterday morning we got a call from our agent that an offer, not pending sale of another home, was accepted on the new house. We are very disappointed but do believe things happen for a reason. We are back in house hunting mode and will leave our house on the market for the time being.

It all started in Ankeny. Really, it did. Kurt and I on a bus to State Marching Band and Ankeny's Mid-Iowa Band Championships. Who knew then that we'd be the Van Thomme Family and settle down in this great city so many years later?

All I can say is good luck with the whole process. It can be very overwhelming at times but definitely worth it.
