Regional Mock Trial Weekend

Kurt continues to coach the AAJ Mock Trial Team at the Drake Law School with his friend Matthew. The regional competition was held in Omaha this year. Since it was during spring break the boys and I went with. The teams did amazingly well. 1 of their teams won! While the teams competed the kids and I got to play in Omaha all weekend. We hit the zoo on Thursday on our way into town. It was perfect because it was the nicest day of the weekend.

 Grant was a little nervous about sitting in the tunnel with all of the "sharks" swimming around.

 Grant found a place to dig. He could have spent the whole day right here.

A friend from college met us at the hotel and brought pizza. It was great to catch up. At bedtime Grant and Adam listened to "The Monster at the End of this Book".

Friday we went to the Omaha Children's Museum. The boys had a blast. Grant is still talking about it and wants to go back tomorrow. (every tomorrow)

Saturday the kids and I met Kelly to go bowling. It was super fun.

 Thank goodness for the dinosaur ramp!

 After a couple hours of nap time at the hotel we went to the Amazing Pizza Machine to eat and play. The kids did a great job.

Sunday morning the kids and I headed back to Ankeny while the team competed for the win.
