Adam's 8th Birthday

Adam turned 8 on Easter. My Aunt Marj is Adam's birthday buddy and was able to come to Ankeny to celebrate with Adam this year. It was a very special weekend with lots of visitors and Mother Nature cooperated with some great spring weather.

 Saturday morning we started the day with our neighborhood egg hunt. Our neighborhood continues to grow like crazy. This year we had about 60 kids participate.

 After the egg hunt we went to The Waldorf for Waldo Burgers and fun with family.

April 20 was a truly special day this year. I had a wonderful time having my dad's side of the family see our home and the wonderful neighborhood where we live. We ate, we laughed, we played. What could be better?

MONDAY

Monday night we got together with Trip and Andy to celebrate Adam's birthday again. He chose Incredible Pizza for some food and fun. We all had fun following the kids around to the different activities.
