It all started in Ankeny. Really, it did. Kurt and I on a bus to State Marching Band and Ankeny's Mid-Iowa Band Championships. Who knew then that we'd be the Van Thomme Family and settle down in this great city so many years later?

I love the picture sitting at the table. You'll have to bookmark that one to submit to senior pictures when he graduates, it's too great not to share with all his classmates someday!
