An amazing season to be grateful.

Wow, 2013 was one very busy year.  We ended with a lot of celebrating with friends and family.  Here are just a few photos and such from the holiday season.

 The Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend Adam went to the Vikings game with Kurt.

 While Kurt and Adam were gone Santa and his wife made a stop in our neighborhood.

 Santa made Grant a little nervous, but he warmed up to chat and give hugs in the end.

 Adam played piano at St. Paul's Christmas program.

 Grant sang Oh Christmas Tree and Bells are Ringing at his Christmas program.  He grins from ear to ear when he sings either song, even at home.  I think they were well trained!

 As a special treat, Kurt and I took Adam to see Peter Pan at the Playhouse.  It was great!

 Christmas Eve.  Notice Adam's red cheeks?  I evidently gave him 5th disease for Christmas.  Thank goodness it was just a funny looking rash that didn't really bother him.

 Christmas dinner - Filet and Crab Legs.  The crab legs were a present from Dale and Karen.  Amazing!

 New Year's Eve.  Todd's family came from MI to celebrate.  Steaks for dinner.

 What is NY without a little adventure?  Kurt and Mark managed to salvage dinner and put out the grease fire in the grill.

 Dinner is served.  I got a new kitchen table while we were in MN to see Jimmy.  It is by far my favorite present this year.  With one extra table we were able to seat 14 around the table for NY Eve dinner.  The new table by itself will seat 12.

 Uncle Todd, Adam, and Nathan.  Those boys are growing up so fast!

 Uncle Todd bought Grant and extra special gift.  It is a construction dinner set.  The silverware are bulldozers!
