Thanksgiving

Time to get caught up! Since I last wrote we have a new member of the family. Kurt's brother, Todd, and his wife had their 3rd little boy on November 13th. Alex Robert is healthy and adorable! Adam is still working on adding Alex to his list of cousins when he names them all. It's kind of funny to hear.

For Thanksgiving Dad, Kurt, Adam, and I went to the Persons' for the day. What a great day! The best highlight was as Dale was saying grace he asked a question (which none of us remember) and Adam's answer was "This is a very long story!" Everyone cracked up and said "Amen". Hopefully God got the picture.

While in Ottumwa Adam was able to play with his cousin, Sully, a bit. Sully loved Adam's Pat-Pat Rocket and playing ball with his cousin in Dale's new soon-to-be greenhouse.

Adam's other favorite activity was playing Dale's bongos. The music corner is quite the temptation for a little boy who loves instruments! I was a nervous wreck that he would break one of the specail guitars.

After a fun afternoon of food and playing, we headed home while Dad hit the road for Ohio to visit his big sister. Dad made it just past Gary, IN on Thursday night and finished his trip on Friday morning. He had a great time with Marj, Warren, and family before heading back to WDM on Sunday.
