Vacation part 2

January 26th
The view from our balcony. Hi Grandpa!
Grandpa enjoys a break from swimming with Adam. He bought me a virgin drink to go with his. Yummy!
Where's my boy? Too bad the purple bucket wasn't able to fly back with us. Hopefully someone puts it to good use in FL.
January 27th
A few more sand castles.

Dinner on South Beach. Yummy!
I couldn't resist a few shots of this clothing store. It is completely decked out in old sewing machines. I took shots of the window, Dad was brave enough to actually go in and take photos.
January 28th
One last shot of our balcony on the beach. We arrive at our hotel in Orlando, the All-Star Music Resort at Disney for our last night in Florida. Adam was so excited to see all of the Disney stuff. "We are exploring for everything Disney!"
Time for more swimming! After swimming for 2 hours with Grandpa at our beach hotel and we drove 3+ hours to our Orlando hotel. After unpacking the car Grandpa and Adam spent 2 more hours in the pool. The pools at the All-Star Music Resort are shaped like a piano and a guitar! Adam was in love.
We rode a Disney bus to Downtown Disney for dinner. Grandpa found the T-Rex restaurant and thought my dinosaur guru would love it.
Grandpa is such a good sport!
As it turned out it was too loud and too scary for a very tired Adam so we ended up at the Lego McDonalds across from T-Rex for dinner.
Lots of fun statues to see around Downtown Disney.
A very fun ride on the carousel. Adam was so exhausted by this time that I was concerned he might fall asleep on his horse. He managed to make it through the ride and walked all the way to the bus. He and I sat on the floor of the bus (the seats were full) and he slept all the way back to the hotel. After a quick change into Mickey PJs he was out like a light. Sweet dreams, Buddy!

January 29th
Another great swim with Grandpa followed by a picture under the boot at our building. We got to stay in the country music building. Too funny for a Grandpa who severely dislikes country music! Time to pack up and head to the airport. Are you sure we have to go home?
Adam watches his "phone" on the plane. He was such a good boy on the trip!
We're home! Daddy came to pick us up at the airport. Thank goodness he remembered our coats and hats. It is cold in Iowa!
